Supplying humanity’s spacefaring future

Hydra Excavator Rover

The Hydra excavator rover uses bucket drum technology licensed from NASA to excavate lunar regolith (soil). Horizontally opposed bucket drums create zero horizontal reaction force, enabling a low-mass, high-efficiency rover design. Hydra quickly traverses the lunar surface to deliver regolith to the Heracles processing plant and can use its arms to extricate itself if it gets stuck.

Heracles Regolith Reactor

The Heracles regolith reactor uses ionic liquids to digest lunar regolith delivered by Hydra. The digested solution is processed to extract oxygen and metals from the regolith. The oxygen can be used for life support, propellant production and water production. Extracted metals include iron, aluminum, titanium, magnesium and calcium which can be used for additive manufacturing, welding and cement production.
